The North Woods

From 1991 to 1995, Barbara Bosworth made photographs across Montana, Canada, and Alaska, seeking solace in the sprawling forests and expansive territories of the North. It was here that she established a connection with the hunters who inhabit these vast landscapes. Through her large format photography, Bosworth's images exude a deep sense of reverence for the land and a respect for the individuals she met.
